anywhere on the screen. It’s always available,
regardless of the current on-screen application, giving
you quick and easy access to the tools you need, when
you need them. You control it in the same way you would
a computer, except your finger directs the cursor. And,
because it enables you to control everything from the
screen at the front of the room, whether it’s
colleagues, students or prospective clients, it makes
it just that little bit easier to retain control of
your audience.
The software makes sophisticated interaction possible.
For example, students working from CD-ROMs that require
answers to be typed can now simply write their answers
directly on the whiteboard. This is automatically transferred
to the CD-ROM as typed text, using the handwriting recognition
tool. Another useful annotation tool for the classroom
allows the removal of existing labels from diagrams,
saving teachers time when producing worksheets.
In the boardroom or meeting room, annotation tools
help presenters highlight their key messages more effectively.
