Annotation Tools

The Annotation tools are specific icons allowing you to write notes, highlight key facts, circle important points and emphasise important areas onto your lessons or presentations. You can annotate over almost anything including webpages, images, word documents, presentations, programs and your desktop.

The ability to annotate over your presentations or lessons gives the opportunity to provide interaction with your audience and to maintain their full attention.

The drawing tools icon opens a new menu features a wide range of shapes, lines and rotating tools. The ability to easily circle items on the screen or draw lines directing items make emphasising key points or items very easy.

The Annotation Icons

	The Pen Tool is selected by clicking this icon. Ink is drawn using the current colour and current Line Style.
	The Highlighter Tool is selected by clicking this icon. Semi-transparent ink is drawn with the current Line Style and colour. Images are tinted with the current colour to allow attention to be focused on a particular area or line of text etc. N.B. The Black or White colours will have no effect in Highlighter.
	The Eraser Tool is selected by clicking this icon. Any lines drawn with either the Pen or the Highlighter will be erased. Note: Drawing Objects or Text Objects are unaffected by the Eraser Tool.
	Clicking this icon opens the Page Browser. The Page Browser allows easy selection and display of previously saved pages. Double clicking on a browse image will reload that page. Pages may also be deleted and re-ordered within the Page Browser.
	The Drawing Tools icon opens a drawing tools menu filled with shapes and tools to enable accurate drawing on the screen.
	The Toolbox icon opens a separate menu filled with tools to aid preentations. For an education install it opens a menu packed with education tools.
	The options icon opens an options menu which has features to enable/disable to improve the usability of interact.
	Clicking on this icon will return the system to mouse mode.
	Clicking on the select icon enables the selection of any pen stroke(s), drawing object(s) or text object(s).
	Selecting this icon will display the Colour Palette. The ink colour may be selected by clicking any one of the 16 paint cans or using the Screen Colour Picker from anywhere on screen. To use the Screen Colour Picker simply click down on any part of the screen and the colour immediately below the dropper icon will become the current colour.
